These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of baselinedesigns.com (the "Site") and any inquiry you make through it. The Site is operated by Baseline Designs ("Baseline Designs," "we," "us," or "I"), an independent design studio. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Baseline Designs offers custom brand identity, website, and visual design services. The Site is primarily informational; it showcases work, describes the studio, and lets you start a project inquiry. Engaging us for design work is separate from using the Site and is governed by a written proposal or agreement specific to that project, which controls in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
A separate, productized website service for local businesses is offered at sales.baselinedesigns.com, which may have its own terms.
Submitting an inquiry through the Site or by email does not create a contract or obligate us to take on your project. Project type, scope, pricing, and timeline are confirmed only in a written proposal. Engagements start at the rates indicated on the Site and are quoted per project.
All content on the Site, including text, layout, graphics, logos, and the design of the Site itself, is owned by Baseline Designs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without our prior written permission.
Ownership and licensing of deliverables created for a client are addressed in the individual project agreement, not by these Terms. Project work shown on the Site is displayed with the understanding that we may feature it in our portfolio.
When using the Site, you agree not to:
The Site links to third-party websites (including client project sites) and relies on third-party services for hosting, fonts, and scripts. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baseline Designs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Baseline Designs from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless a project agreement specifies otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
